The value of Life!!!

What is actually the value of life? We say each and every life is precious and we certainly mean the life of our own race, isn't it? For some, that race means human, for some it means white people, for some it means people in their own religion. So, ever thought about the real value of life? We simply kill a mosquito with no regret, Aren't we taking a life there? We simply tread on a budding plant and there we have taken a life. Isn't this all different forms of life? I guess we can understand the value of our own life only. And so it seems with every living beings. Even animals can understand the value of it's own life and it'll do anything to save that. I guess the difference is animals never suicide, but humans ofcourse do suicide. what's your thoughts?

  3. i don't have anything against suicide....i mean we have the capacity to understand we are suffering and we have a way to get out of it,then why not do it?If we weren't supposed to do it,then why did we learn about it?

  4. Hey wrote something similar sometime back and called it the -Value of "US"

Well, if i have to sum it up, i'da say humans complicate thngs for thmselves so much tht at the end they cant deal with it, n thn they wanna run away from it

Animals live the way nture has designed it for thm, thy don go against the nature...n so thy don need to run away from nethin

  5. Abuse!
Humans have that sixth sense to analyse, decide and stick with something. Thats why they decide to suicide, abusing their sixth sense.

  9. So what exactly is the question? How much do we value our own life, others' lives, or animals?

  10. so aneesh another gud topic.
Here I feel why do we tat we r the most superior race why do we not equally treat animals just bcoz we hav some intellect tat too god given not self made.
Why do we have to be higher than them all. why do we not understand its not superiority its just difference.
Yupp life is very important very and those who kill any of sush forms have some insanity in them tats why human beings according to me r the worst creation of God.

  22. divkiran,

Very true. Iraq bombings used to come in the first page of the newspaper, but as it became daily everyone got boring, so is these bomb threats. Now, people are thinking if its time then you have to die whether you hide in your house or not.
